The Integrated Center for Experimentation and Training in Sustainable Agriculture (CIEFAD) is a Center for Research , Popularization and Vocational Training , oriented towards rural trades and particularly Sustainable Agriculture . The premises are located in Feutap, 6 km from the town of Bangangté, along the Bangangté – Bafang road. Its current site in the department of Ndé, overlapping between 4 departments of the western highlands: Haut-Nkam, Hauts-Plateaux, Nkoung-Khi, Noun, predisposes it to welcoming rural people of various origins and to a rapid diffusion of technologies.

OBJECTIVES OF CIEFAD

Develop and popularize techniques of Sustainable Agriculture with Low External Inputs (ADPIE), appropriated by small farmers in the highlands of Western Cameroon (Agroforestry, Composting, Organic Agriculture).

Train Farmers willing to invest in sustainable agriculture.

Create a bank of plant seeds and progenitors with known performance to support small farmers (domestication, seed production, progenitors) who wish to engage in agribusiness
